#Covid19. Do not forget about fomites and surfaces

Being one of the architects who suggested that most #covid19 #superspreading events occurs #indoors and via #aerosols does not mean you can forget about the possibility of infection from fomites and surfaces. Not everyone gets infected in a superspreading event. In cooler weather the SARS-CoV2 virus (or novel coronavirus) can survive on lots of surfaces.…

Deltacron has landed in Australia

The dreaded recombinant variant #deltacron which I warned has not disappeared has now arrived in Australia. It has the spike like Omicron but the other parts are like the Delta variant. If it is 10 times worse as Omicron, which delta was, then the death rate could be hundreds a day, even close to 1000…

How many people around you are carrying covid19 right now in WA?

There will always be a large virus pool from which new variants will form, so even if people develop immunity to one variant they will not be immune to new variants. This virus can become weaker one year but more deadly the year after.

Rapid Antigen Tests are Useless

I was trying to make sense of this paper I reference below. My conclusion was that the RAT is 37% more accurate on average compared to a random 50/50 result for Omicron. That does not sound too great to me. A big drop from the delta variant. Why are we even using this crap? The…

Seriously, How stupid are West Australians?

The vaccinated are the ones carrying and spreading the virus. Look at this woman (in attached article), triple jabbed and has had covid twice. Ditto for Shane Warne. Meanwhile Premier McGowan (aka McClown) still has vaccine passports (medical apartheid), and is still mandating the jab. Where is the logic in this? He must think most…

What is Omicron XE? Should we worry?

From what I know Omicron XE is some hybrid on BA.1 and BA.2 subvariants of omicron. The Omicron variants are the most infectious variants so far but their case fatality rates seem to be quite low 0.1 to 0.3%. There is still some uncertainly with BA.2. It may be more virulent. I have been unable…

Omicron BA.2 is quite different from Omicron BA.1. BA.2 is now generating it’s own subvariants. There are now 54 variants of Omicron.

I have always regarded the BA.2 subvariant of Omicron and potentially more dangerous than BA.1 as it is quite different. Up until a week or so ago, BA.1 had generated 19 new subvariants BA.1.*, e.g. BA.1.1 and BA.1.14, and BA.1.17. Now BA.2 is developing new subvariants, like BA.2.1 and BA.2.3. They have appeared in South…

Did some people actually get Covid19 from the vaccines?
According to the data on the TGA website, the answer is yes. Covid19 is a disease usually caused by the SARS-CoV2 virus. The bioweapon in this virus is the spike protein so it may well have caused covid19 in vaccine recipients if that disease is bought on by the Spike protein. Admittedly, it is not…

Data from the TGA’s Database of Adverse Event Notifications – data for children hidden.
I logged onto their website (https://apps.tga.gov.au/Prod/daen/daen-entry.aspx), and as you cannot save the data I did a quick screen capture with commentary. I have not posted that screen capture here. Remember a lot of deaths go unreported as doctors are discouraged from reporting them, and many deaths (eg Shane Warne) are not investigated properly. I did…
