This is weird. For something that was spreading like wildfire the there have hardly been any number of new cases in the last 2 days. I do not think it is because it was a weekend because it did not happen in the previous weekends.

Maybe is is a MSM thing: men having sex with men with some spread via fomites or contact. The next few days will be telling.

Added 13 June 2022. Very latest update shows monkeypox #MPX is doubling time now extended out to 9.5 days (was 3), so quarantine and contact tracing working to restrain it from spreading. Have to maintain this though, or it will start exponentiating again.
