I am not too happy Australia has just let covid rip like it is a common cold/flu, because it is not. It was made in a lab and as a bioweapon. That is well established now. Immunity to one variants does not give immunity to other variants.

We will suffer the implications later as new waves come, and #longcovid starts to take a toll. I remain cautious because I would not want to get brain fog or even just lose my sense of taste. Australia will have in excess of 1,000,000 people suffer from longcovid in the future. It may be mild, or it may be serious.

And are we okay with 50-100 people dying a day? really? That is 18,000 to 36,000 people a year. I know most are old people or immune compromised people, but they are human beings. They do NOT want to die.

And all of this is not going away. As I have repeatedly explained there is a huge “virus pool” of covid infected people (most vaccinated) in which the virus survives and mutates against any immunity. That virus pool is about 5% of the population, about 1.5 million people in Australia.

At the moment the variants BA.2.3 and BA.2.9 from Europe are moving through the population, as well as the highly infectious variants BA.2.10.1 (from WA) and BA.2.12.1 (from the USA). Victoria have its own variant BA.2.3.3. After these guys have done their damage, we will get waves of BA.4 and BA.5. And do not forget the coronavirus can hide in your nerve cells and reappear later. Your immune system does not attack nerve cells. Also infection by any variant of omicron does not offer protection from other variants. Many people are getting re-infected.

New variants will come along soon with such a large virus pool in the world. About 100 million people are constantly infected with covid19 at any one time. With such a large number of infected people, we can not only expect mutated variants, but potentially more dangerous recombinant variants. They will come, especially with such a large proportion of people in Africa with AIDS.

Remember, SARS-CoV2 was made in a lab as a bioweapon.
And do not forget that brain damage (Parkinson’s disease) followed the 1918 flu years later (4 to 8 years after and beyond).
