Mr Miles said there were about 1000 people in hospital with COVID-19 in the state, but the government had no plans to reintroduce a mask mandate or any other health measures to suppress the outbreak.

He said previous measures had only been in place while the majority of the population got themselves vaccinated.

“Now that everyone has had a chance to get vaccinated, we have a different set of responses and measures and you can see the effectiveness of that vaccination in the hospitalisation rates,” the deputy premier said.

“So while we are seeing large numbers of cases, the number of hospitalisations as a proportion of those cases is much smaller than earlier variants.

What a joke. Most people are vaccinated, like 95%, and more people are suddenly dying. Oh sorry, I forgot that most are old or toddlers.

The rest of the article takes pride in telling us that 46.2% of people have now been infected with covid compared to 17% in late February.

Clearly, they still think herd immunity is possible. It is not. 95% vaccinated did not achieve herd immunity, and nor will 95% naturally infected.

And 100 people dying a day is also okay with the Health Departments across Australia. The message I get from all of this is “Hurry up and die”.

Also #longcovid and organ damage have been completely ignored.

No comment about the fact that most that are dying are fully, triple, quadruple of five-times vaccinated, and the data implies a negative efficacy. Read my earlier blog at the bottom.
