The Australian Government is trying to wind down Covid like it is over, but that is far from true, and I am not alone in my view.
There first step is going to be to stop reporting cases AND DEATHS from covid daily, and only weekly.
At the moment 50 to 100 Australians are dying from Covid every DAY.
In 2021, 1,123 people died from road accidents in Australia.
So far 14,214 people have died from covid in Australia and most of those deaths are this year. In two weeks more people die from covid than from road accidents. This is a blatant coverup. For comparison purposes, 288 people have died from Influenza in Australia this year.
We spend so much time, money and effort trying to keep the road toll down but it is about one twentieth of the number of covid deaths, so if we are consistent let’s abolish all drink driving and speeding offences.
Prime Minister Albanese (called ‘Albo’ by some, ‘al bino’ by me) is worse than Scott Morrison, aka #scummo. The death toll is still rising and it may go higher with the new variant of concern that has just arrived in Australia BA.2.75.*. It is already in most states and by late next week will be quite prominent as well as some variants that don’t seem to be dying off like BA.4.6 and BA.5.6.
I am not the only one who thinks the pandemic is not over. FFS. 50 to 100 Australians are dying every DAY, and for every death there will be 100 longcovid. 10% of them will have a permanent disability and not be able to work. The latter comes to about 150,000 Australians. 1.5 million will have some sort of issue from #Longcovid. Australia’s economic and medical systems are going to collapse.
New variants could also emerge from animals like minks etc., and from people who carry the virus for a long time, such as people with AIDS.
BA.2.75 started in India about the same time as BA.5 was starting to circulate around the world. It is more infective than BA.5, as BA.2.75 basically stopped BA.5 circulating in India. That is when they decided to name BA.2.75.x as a new variant of concern in its own right.
BA.2.75 is just starting in Australia. Watch the next wave start in a week or two.
At the moment the covid cases are either low because people are not getting tested or the vaccine is now aiding the virus.
