It seems like the variants BA.4 and BA.5 which are only just starting in Australia (in NSW and WA last I looked) are affecting children more than any other variant. The number of children admitted to hospital under 9 years of age has overtaken the number of people over 80 years old for the first time, in the fifth wave in South Africa. Not just that but over 50% of children under age one who tested positive for Covid-19 are admitted to hospital. This virus has so many twists and turns I am starting to see why China wants to stay zerocovid.

Meanwhile the WHO is starting to question China again about the Wuhan lab theory which most of us know is true, thanks to the brilliant work of Dr Richard Fleming and Nobel Laureate Luc Montagnier. Professor Montagnier was the first to notice 4 genetic sequences from the HIV virus in early 2020. He was ridiculed but he was on the money. Prof. Montagnier died January 2022.
