covid19 & other Infectious diseases

3 new emerging serious issues with SARS-CoV2.

The first is that infection does not stop you from getting re-infected with the new omicron variants. The record for reinfection I believe is 8 days now. It is also becoming apparent that the more you get infected, the greater the damage that covid19 can do to you. In other words, repeated infections act cumulatively. Here is all the data. Meanwhile Australia continues with its policy of #Letitrip, like complete morons. How did Australia go from #zerocovid to this disaster? Over 50 people are dying a day (20,000 a year) and it is essentially being classified as a common cold. We should be wearing masks just for covid19 right now, as well as for the flu, monkeypox, tuberculosis, and polio which are all coming.

The other problem is that covid #vaccineshavefailed as well.

The second issue is that the new variants BA.4 and BA.5, which are now in Australia, and in particular in NSW, are perhaps not milder than BA.1 and BA.2. We have seen hints of this from Israel and the UK. Initial data from South Africa implied BA.4 and BA.5 may be milder.

Hospitalizations are on the increase in Australia, and in particular in NSW and Queensland, where BA.4 and BA.5 have been slowly growing in prevalence. BA.4 and BA.5 are about 25-30% atm in NSW. BA.4 is just starting to kick-in in Western Australia. BA.5 is kicking in in Queensland too.

The next serious concern is whether SARS-CoV2 can hide in nerve cells like Herpes Simplex. We already know that SARS-CoV2 can get into nerve cells, and we do know that the immune system does not attack nerve cells.
