a quantum field with no particles is NOTHING. particles are the excitations of a quantum field. the quanta of the field. without them there is nothing. this is why quantum field theory is often called second quantization. the particles are the quanta. most people misunderstand this. i did my dpil at oxford in particle physics QFT and QCD. i get tired of reading misunderstandings of this.
nothing can be created from a vacuum. the universe did not just appear from a quantum fluctuation. mass and energy are interchangeable forms of the same thing. there must have been something before the big bang. we could be a rebounding collapsed universe, but since our universe is expounding that seems improbable, so I have suggested that we are an exploding black hole in a pre-existing universe. it is interesting to note that the universe with a mass on 10^53 kgs. the schwarzchild radius of a black hole of that mass is about 15.7 billion light years, which is comparable to the size of the universe itself. if we are inside a bigger universe there is no need for “dark energy” to make the universe expand faster. the gravitational pull from the outside universe does the job automatically. this can go ad infinitum as well, with universes within bigger universes. everything was always there. no need to invoke a hypothetical god, or think of a starting point. this idea also solves hawkings paradox, which is where does all the information from the universe go when a black hole evaporates through hawking radiation. my answer is it is not lost. when it explodes all that was in the black hole re-emerges. also explains why universe is mainly made of matter as opposed to anti-matter. it was a “a matter” black hole, with everything including electrons, neutrinos, quarks etc.
my only sticking point is how does quantum mechanics cause a black hole to explode. most particles are fermions that do not want to be in the same state so they don’t like being at a singularity. they repels with INFINITE force. angular momentum is also something that does not like being confined to a point. that may be important too.
i also believe that the universe has a net angular momentum as well. that would be partial evidence to support my theory. in our solar system this is clearly obvious that most objects spin the same way. there is a nett angular momentum. most of the planets spin the same way and so do their moons.
this is interesting. i just found this. i proposed my theory 7 years ago i think.
